MalOvent is an adult horror visual novel centered around SCP-1471. Over the course of play you'll be presented with choices that matter not only for you as the main character, but for the greater world around you. Will you be able to unearth the truth before the walls come crashing down?

For the time being there is only the English version of the game available. Translations into other languages will be addressed in the final builds of this project (i.e. v0.3 and beyond).
All music was generated specifically for this project by DJLC & Caelan Serrano. You shouldn't run into any copyright issues if you stream or post your playthrough to YouTube! Though if you do, let us know ASAP!

Install instructions
For Windows and Linux, Extract and run MalOvent.exe
For Mac, Extract the .zip, right click on MalOvent.app, and select Open
For Android, you will need to sideload or use whatever magic you normally do to install non-Play Store .apk files. If you have no idea what I'm talking about, I've been told this website explains things rather well.

I really find it interesting how the creature really does grow based on how you interact with it. I'm oddly enough hoping that down the line we get access to a sort of balanced romance/sexual interaction path that treats the thing as a proper person (and of course allows materialization in the world). Without the... unfortunate side effect of what happens when you basically go full sex mode in current content. I will say however, that if it ONLY ever leads to bad ends, that does kind of seemingly destroy the whole... point? Of a vn like this. To me at least. xD I mean the selling point of this is obviously to interact with and (probably) inevitably do lewd stuff to it. So having it exclusively lead to bad shit going down? I dunno. Either way, so far I've loved it.
It’s sad to admit that the game is only in English for now, but judging by the records, this will be fixed soon, and it’s not easy to follow events on discord when you live in a country where it was banned, I’m waiting for Act 3 as if it’s my last day, we’ll wait until April to play to this masterpiece again
I will be honest I would love it if you had the option to play as a girl as well in the story as I don't think it would really change much other than sex scenes and some interactions. I do really love the story so far though~

Simple when you see her on the camera reach out to her then when your asked to help her or give boundaries pick help her and then continue until she sees you in the bathroom that's he handjob scene, the next day let her get the "Memory" or whatever out of your sperm. BUT MOST IMPORTANTLY TO GET TO THIS ENDING you have to tell your friend about Malo and coming down to the end decline your friends handjob offer and it will lead to this ending where she's literally acting like a succubus draining the player dry
I'm not actually sure that it's actually the sex that kills the player as much as... She literally somehow destroys the world while doing it, if you look at what kind of events go on etc. Plus she flat out says 'while your world ends'.
She saying that isn't the world ending, it's just the matter of fact, for whatever reason, your body destroys itself because of... pent up sexual energy? And that is cured by the.. non-MALO sexual interaction..? Seems like a weird story choice.

You need to not impose restrictions on MalOn let her look through your porn files and always give her what she wants, tell your friend about it and accept to let her fap you. Although when going in Extras I see 4 scenes.
I am already in love with this game.
It has no flaws, it just needs time to be developed and if it continues to be as amazing as it already is then it will be worth the wait to see it completed. Please make this a great and long story if you can, I truly do enjoy this.

As far as I know its only the first act. As for the nsfw you either have to (re)enable it in preferences, else you have to choose it in the story.
Act 1 was up until MalO talked for the first time. There is indeed NSFW content in the game currently.

as a little detail. when you are in the save page. you can click "page 1" 2, 3 and so on to change its name. you can actually write anything.

And I really notice every detail of connection!! My assumption from Malovent reason why MC, Si-Won and MalO is probably forget something because of Lexy is there? Since MC didn't remember that he goes to shopping and if i recall Lexy and Zero goes shopping stuffs to cook for MC. Since Lexy has Memory Ward. And probably the one who knocks the door is probably "Magical Cops" and the Agent Katoa. And I also saw about Si-Won's Sister and Other Female students from Waterfall Institute as well. And also about missing GTA professor.

Great game! I must say as a computer science student myself, the relatability of the story alone makes me want to come back for the next update.
I understand the protagonist's and Si-Won's frustrations in CS so well it's almost uncanny. Things like going to a lecture and not expecting to understand anything or feeling like I learn more from the internet than from the actual course itself are just two of the many examples of the story of my life.
Only difference is I don't have someone as helpful as Mal0, nor do I have a cute study partner like Si-Won. Oh well...
